Your Sensations Enhance When You Cultivate Spiritual Energies

Author of  "Cultivating Spiritual Energy"

When you start to cultivate spiritual energy, you most likely will start having more spiritual experiences, such as seeing flickering lights, or interacting with spiritual beings, or having more significant dreams. But you may also notice new sensations within your body, mind, or spirit. For me I started to feel I was now stepping outside the confines of my body each time I meditated, and with it came a sensation of  total freedom, delight, and wonder.

I also started to notice that when I was in this state of expanded freedom, I was better at conversing and receiving guidance. Later, I also noticed how I was getting better results from the spiritual cultivation process during these  "expansion windows". Then I noticed having a lot more spiritual experiences occurring.

Over time, I also began to feel sensations I call "the wobbles" as if my inner self was always vibrating. At first, it felt "thick and dense" but over time, it changed to feeling more like a gentle "hum" - kind of like the purr of a refrigerator. For a long time, I didn't know what this was or what it meant. Later I realized this is what is meant by "trying to increase your vibration". For me, this was not something I worked on - it just happened. It was an automatic transition and sensation. What I have discovered, however, is this seems to allow me to  "connect" with other subtle, spiritual energies at almost any time. I no longer have to be in a meditative state to connect with spiritual energies. I can now connect with different spiritual frequencies with mental focus and intention, almost on an ad hoc basis.

Dancing Sparks of Light on the Ceiling

PictureFlickers of Bright Lights on the Ceiling
Two sparks of bright lights on my ceiling were displaying in the dark of night while I lay on my bed. They almost looked like bright stars, but then they started to move. It looked like these stars were dancing, as they moved and flowed across and around the ceiling. Every once in a while they bumped into each other and I would hear a soft crackle as the sparks hit one another.

I later learned these sparks of dancing stars were my two Spiritual Guides projecting themselves in a manner I could see them and would not be afraid It was their way to let me know of their presence - a stronger type of physical validation than just one of my feelings or hunches. They wanted to say hello, provide comfort and support to me, as well as to keep me engaged in this new quest of learning to work and cultivate spiritual energy.

My Spirit Guides knew that a student needs reinforcement and encouragement in a new journey that is often filled with mystery, skepticism, and not a lot of peer support. This physical display of moving sparks of light was one of the ways they decided to keep me engaged, interested, and curious.

Eventually, this type of communication ended as we transitioned to other types of validation and encouragement in this journey of discovery. But in the initial months of my training, I was greeted at bedtime with one or two dancing stars on my ceiling to help keep me motivated.

In the article “What’s Hidden in the 96%”, Nan Lu states that our visible world is only 4% of the total electromagnetic spectrum—96% is invisible. This invisible reality exists in waves of energy. Our physical, tangible reality is essentially only 4% of what is really “out there" with everything else being invisible to us.

We often only focus on our physical, tangible reality that clings to the ideas that if it can't be measured, seen, or felt, it isn't real. The problem with this concept is the assumption that our physical tools can work in this invisible, subtle reality, but they don't. Our physical tools only work in a physical world. In the invisible, subtle reality, a different set of tools and skills are needed. It is this other set of tools that helps us access this invisible world, enter it, and work in it.

Many of us sense and feel there is something beyond what our physical, tangible world implies. We are drawn to stories, books, or movies that are magical, or heroic, or showing us how to move through insurmountable odds. We may have an empty awareness associated with the physical measures of success, such as fame, fortune, money, beauty, and power. Some may feel a type of craving for more meaning and purpose, but may also feel an inability to grab on and hold it.

One reason for these feelings is a type of inner awareness within our energetic self - our soul, telling us there is more than just the 4% of reality we are comfortable in. We sense a type of pull towards looking beyond the physical boundaries and believe the answers and guidance we seek may be there. The problem is often not knowing how we can get those answers.

To access this invisible nonphysical world one will need to use tools that can transcend the filter that lies between this physical and nonphysical worlds. The tools do NOT require being a certain gender, age, or from a certain religion. In fact, no specific credentials are required. What is needed is the person be able to direct their thoughts. These skills are primarily acquired through meditation, focused attention (mindfulness), and intention. With these skills, a person can then learn how to access that into that realm of the invisible reality and energy. However, if a person wants to move beyond just being able to interact and work with this spiritual realm, they would need to learn to match their personal energetic vibration with the energy in that invisible realm. This is done through using the tools of cultivating spiritual energies.

Learning how to move and interact with the "filter" that rests between our physical reality and this nonphysical reality, can help you get the answers you seek. Learning how to match your vibration with different types of invisible energies can give you some amazing spiritual experiences, insight, and knowledge.

Additional information on the tools and methods are included in the book "Cultivating Spiritual Energy".

Tracking Your Spiritual Moments and Events

Author of "Cultivating Spiritual Energy"

I keep an ‘energy journal’ and record events that happened that day. This includes things like dreams, or changes in my feelings, or ideas I am pondering. It also may include encounters with spiritual beings, or meditation results, or moments of wonder in nature. My goal is to have a written record of my spiritual experiences and 'moments of awe' so I can remember them, retrieve them, or ponder and learn from them. Keeping a written record has become a way to help me stay focused, as well as provide a means to assess, or even change my path.

I used to manually write things down in a notebook, but it was challenging to try and relocate specific events in a manual record. I then switched to typing everything into the computer and then storing it in 'the cloud'. This allowed me better access from any computer as well as the means to search everything at once with just key words or phrases.

Next, I started to place events that really stood out, on a spreadsheet. This became a summary of highlights and events, helping me to assess trends. Some of those moments were just single events and it helped me appreciate them as gifts. This record keeping and assessment process helped motivate me to keep focused as well as determine new directions to take.

For me, recording my spiritual experiences has helped me stay alert and keep driving myself on path to search for more awe and wonder.
